Gaspard has just witnessed the murder of one his classmate. When you’re just 17, it seems hard to get over this. That’s what his father Antoine strongly believes.
Antoine is a wildlife filmmaker who about to get back to his childhood region to direct a film about the local brown trout. Determined to save his son, he decides to take Gaspard with him. Antoine also hopes to renew their distended relationship and provide him a new vision of humanity.
Antoine will take Gaspard to a wide range of comical – if not burlesque – situations. Through this common adventure and their sometimes violent conflicts, two generations and ages will confront each other.
A complex transgenerational bond is also being revealed whereas Antoine tries to settles his score with his recently deceased father.
